To aid aclimatisation we had a rest day in Manang. In the morning we wandered up the slope to the east of the town. Near a group of buildings we found these two childred who immediately offered to take us inside this tiny monastery. They were good guides - they could tell us who was in the picture and what everything was for. And at the end they just shook the offerings tin without being at all selfconcious.
